Hitegra is engaged in the performance of construction and stonemasonry works that include the construction of buildings (building construction), assembly and disassembly of scaffolding and work platforms, plastering work, damp and water proofing (waterproofing works), formwork, reinforcing works, concreting, masonry, stonework from cutting and preparation of stone to final installation of stone, ceramic works, construction of chimneys and fireplaces, construction of outdoor swimming pools, earth moving (excavation, embankment, levelling and other works on the design of the construction site, installation of doors and windows, installation of door and window frames made of wood or any other material, interior finishing works such as works on the installation of movable partitions, ceilings, etc.).
Hitegra operates on the eastearn side of the island of Korčula which includes the town of Korčula and the municipality of Lumbarda, which have a total population of over 7,000 inhabitants. The island is living off tourism and almost the entire economy and construction rely on it. The most common users of services are natural persons, owners of family houses and tourist apartments who hire Hitegra for various crafts for maintenance, reconstruction and construction of both family houses and accommodation facilities. Apart from natural persons, Hitegra has established an excellent business relationship with the hotel company HTP Korčula, for which it performed roof reconstruction in 2018 and in 2019 it carried out the reconstruction of the roof at the hotels Korčula de la ville and Liburna. Hitegra is also a subcontractor of Pomgrad d.o.o. In 2019, he successfully performed works on the construction of the port in the port of Dominče in the town of Korčula.
Hitegra organized the start of business in 2015 by contracting a number of smaller construction works, which it performed in a way that offered flexibility, quick engagement and versatility of services provided to its clients. Excellent knowledge of other entrepreneurs offering complementary services has enabled him to occasionally collaborate on larger projects. Hitegra had successful execution of works on two major projects in 2018 on the reconstruction of the roof of Korčula de la ville whose investor was HTP Korčula d.d. and on the construction of a business-residential building whose investor was Bilić d.o.o. It profited into a construction entrepreneur who, with careful planning and good organization, completes small and large construction projects without any problems and within the agreed deadlines.
Stone is a traditional building material on the island of Korcula, where the town of Korcula and the municipality of Lumbarda have a particularly rich stonemasonry tradition. Even today, stone is highly valued in cladding and decorating houses, paving backyards and streets. In the middle of 2019, Jadran Milina made an investment in a stonemason's workshop in Lumbarda. This investment allows him to expand his craft offering to cut and sell stone for other construction contractors and individuals, and at the same time to offer cheaper and better services of stonemasonry work since he independently performs the entire process from cutting to stone installation.
